brianpetro.com is the personal consulting site of Brian Petro, owner of Bright Productions, Inc. We collect as little as possible.

What this site does not do

• It doesn’t use advertising or remarketing cookies.
• We never sell your information.

Visitor statistics (Google Analytics)

We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use this site, such as which pages are visited, how people arrive here and roughly where they are. Google Analytics sets cookies and collects information like your browser, device, approximate location and the pages you view. It doesn’t tell us who you are. You can block it with your browser’s privacy settings or Google’s opt-out add-on. Google’s own privacy policy applies.

Videos (YouTube)

Brian’s videos are hosted on YouTube. A video only loads after you click play, and it loads from youtube-nocookie.com, YouTube’s privacy-enhanced mode. Once it plays, YouTube’s own privacy policy applies.

Booking a call (Calendly)

The scheduler on the Book a Call page is provided by Calendly. It loads only on that page, and only when you open the booking step. The details you enter there (such as your name, email address and the time you choose) go to Brian so he can arrange the call. Calendly’s own privacy notice applies to the scheduler.

Email

If you email standout@brianpetro.com, your message and address are used only to reply to you.

Server logs

Like almost every website, our hosting provider keeps standard server logs (your IP address, browser type and the pages requested) for security and reliability.

We want everyone to be able to use this site, including people who use assistive technology. Our goal is to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA, in the spirit of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).

What we’ve done

• A clear, semantic structure: landmarks, headings in order and a skip link.
• Everything works with a keyboard, with a visible focus indicator.
• Text and controls meet AA color contrast.
• Images have text alternatives; decorative graphics are hidden from screen readers.
• If your device asks for reduced motion, animations are turned off.
• Anything that moves on its own (the testimonials and the logo carousel) has a pause button and pauses on hover and focus.

Known limitations

The Calendly scheduler and YouTube videos are provided by third parties, and their accessibility is outside our control. If either gives you trouble, email us and we’ll book your call another way.
